Mom and Kate Visit!

Mom, Kate, Shelby and Ava brought me back to SC and stayed for a week! We had too much fun! We saw it all, the college, shopping, the beaches, downtown, even the junk stores!

Fort Moultrie

On "Carolina Day" TJ and I visited Fort Moultrie on Sullivan's Island. It was very educational ;-). The fort sits near the mouth of the Charleston Harbor and was built to protect the harbor. It has been around for 200 years and showcases the changes that have been made in all those years. A lot of the fort was underground -- which was a bit claustrophobic. Also, it was about 97 degrees that day!!

Carolina Sunset

Lola is so well adjusted now she will even stick her head out the window!! See? It just took a little time and love :-)

Kiawah

We visited Kiawah resort when TJ's grandparents came to visit us. The top picture is at Mingo Point, where the Kayak trips leave from. The middle is the path from the hotel to the ocean, and the bottom picture is in front of the beautiful hotel!

June Update

Hey everyone,
Sorry we haven't updated in awhile... my computer power cord is broken so I can't access my pictures! We have been having a great time down here, taking Lola to the beach and hanging out at the pool. On Monday we went to the Mexican restaurant by our house and it was DELICIOUS! It gave Aunt Chris' joint a run for its money! I am coming home on June 30th and I can't wait to see everyone. TJ's work is going well - he is taking lots of kayak trips and fishing in the surf. See you all soon!

Surf Adventure

Last night TJ and I went out to eat at Woody's on Folly Beach. Then we went over to the water to try out TJ's new surf board! (I stayed on dry land and read my book) We will put up more action pictures when we get 'em! Notice how legit he looks in the first pic. Oh, and don't forget... Lola the shark dog!
